Foothills is one of Lakewood’s west-side neighborhoods. The City of Lakewood’s comprehensive plan groups it with Glennon Heights, Union Square, Green Mountain and Rooney Valley as the city’s “west neighborhoods,” the area west of Kipling Street and Kipling Parkway, south of US-6 (6th Avenue), out to the city limits. Foothills sits on the eastern slope of Green Mountain. It’s not a separate town, and its homes have Lakewood addresses. The Cleanest House cleans Foothills houses, condos and townhomes. 1960s and 1970s homes below Green Mountain
According to Lakewood’s planning documents, the Foothills and Green Mountain neighborhoods were mostly built in the 1960s and 1970s, largely as single-family homes on smaller lots. The plan points to William F. Hayden Green Mountain Park and Bear Creek Lake Park nearby, with smaller parks such as Beech Park and Hutchinson Park scattered through the area.
Right in the neighborhood, Foothills Park (12800 W. Virginia Ave.) has a playground, a tennis court, a turf field, a small picnic shelter and a quarter-mile trail loop for dogs, strollers and joggers. It sits next to Foothills Elementary School on West Ohio Avenue, part of Jeffco Public Schools’ Green Mountain attendance area.
What hillside living means for cleaning
- Trail dust. Green Mountain’s open-space trails are right next door. Hiking boots, bikes and dogs bring fine dirt inside, so entryways and hard floors get priority.
- Wind on the slope. Homes on the mountainside get breezes that leave dust on window sills, patio doors and blinds.
- Split and multi-level layouts. Some homes from this era have stairs between levels. Tell us how many floors and bathrooms you have so we plan the right amount of time.
- Updated kitchens and baths. Remodeled houses often mix new counters and original tile, and each needs its own product.
Getting around west Lakewood
Union Boulevard, Alameda Parkway and 6th Avenue connect Foothills with the rest of Lakewood. The Denver Federal Center and RTD’s W Line light rail are to the northeast, and Red Rocks Community College has its Lakewood campus near 6th Avenue. A set cleaning day every week or two keeps weekends free for the trails.

For a thorough first pass in an occupied home, book deep cleaning. For an empty house or townhome, use move-in/move-out cleaning. We can’t guarantee a deposit or an inspection result. Our non-toxic products are lower-fume and lightly scented. They aren’t chemical-free, and we make no medical claims. Local offices can request commercial cleaning, which is month-to-month and quoted at any size. No same-day or rush visits.

On the quote, share your home’s layout, how many pets you have, and where dirt collects most, like a back slider onto a deck or a lower-level door by the garage. Tell us whether you’d like the crew to use the front or side entrance. Hillside driveways can be steep or icy in winter, so if street parking is easier, let us know.
