House Cleaning Services Green Mountain

House Cleaning Services in Green Mountain

Green Mountain is one of Lakewood’s west neighborhoods. The city’s comprehensive plan groups it with Glennon Heights, Union Square, Foothills and Rooney Valley, in the area west of Kipling Street and Kipling Parkway and south of US 6. It takes its name from the mesa above it. The summit is about 6,854 feet and sits inside William Frederick Hayden Park, roughly four miles west of Lakewood’s civic center. The Cleanest House cleans Green Mountain houses, condos and townhomes, but not apartments.

What most homes book: biweekly visits. Weekly and every-four-weeks schedules are also available. Call (720) 660-4990 or request a Green Mountain quote.

Living below the mesa

Lakewood’s plan says the Green Mountain neighborhood was developed mainly in the 1960s and 1970s, mostly with single-family homes on smaller lots. It’s close to two of the city’s biggest open spaces:

  • William F. Hayden Park on Green Mountain is more than 2,400 acres, making it Lakewood’s second-largest park. Its shared-use trails climb toward the summit, with views of the metro area to the east and the high peaks to the west. Most of the land was donated by or bought from the Hayden family beginning in 1972.
  • Bear Creek Lake Park, to the south, covers about 2,624 acres and offers trails, fishing and water recreation.
  • Smaller neighborhood parks in the west Lakewood area include Beech Park and Hutchinson Park.

Most day-to-day shopping is in the Green Mountain/Alameda commercial area, between Union Boulevard and Alkire Street. Before it became a park, the mesa had other uses: from 1903 to 1939, the Colorado National Guard leased part of it from the Hayden family as a training and artillery range.

Hillside homes and trail dust

When a mesa park is at the end of your street, some of it comes home with you. Here’s how we handle Green Mountain houses:

  1. Trail grit. Dust and grit from the Hayden trails get tracked in on shoes and paws. We vacuum entry rugs and mop hard floors from the door inward.
  2. Split levels and walkouts. If your home is a split-level or has a walkout basement, we clean each level and finish the half-flights of stairs top to bottom.
  3. View windows. If your home faces the mesa or the city, we wipe the sills and the interior glass within reach so the view stays clear.
  4. Wildlife-side yards. With open space nearby, spiders and dust gather in window wells and patio doors. We clean the tracks and the thresholds.

Scheduling around the mountain

Hillside streets below the mesa can be steep, and some driveways ice up after a storm. We schedule winter visits with that in mind. If your street is hard to reach after snow, tell us, and we’ll move your slot rather than rush the crew up an icy hill. In summer, early-morning visits usually work well for households that head out to the Hayden trailheads by midday.

Your service options

Our residential cleaning is set up for recurring visits. Biweekly is recommended, weekly or every four weeks is available, and there’s no every-three-weeks plan. An occupied home that needs a thorough reset should start with a deep clean. Empty homes can book move-in/out cleaning, which doesn’t guarantee any deposit or inspection result.

We use non-toxic cleaning products: lower-fume and mild-scented, not chemical-free, and we make no medical claims. Businesses along Alameda can request commercial cleaning, which is month-to-month, quoted for any size and always non-toxic. We don’t do same-day or rush jobs.

Close to Green Mountain

Foothills is right next door in west Lakewood, along the mesa’s eastern slope. East of Kipling, Kendrick Lake is a short drive away, and Golden is to the north. Citywide service is described on our Lakewood page, and every area is listed on Areas We Serve.
