Cherry Creek North and the blocks around it
Cherry Creek North covers 16 blocks between First and Third Avenues, from University Boulevard to Steele Street. Local boutiques, national brands, restaurants and salons share its streets. Fillmore Plaza, on Fillmore Street between First and Second, hosts the summer Cherry Creek Arts Festival and Cherry Creek North Food & Wine. Just south, the enclosed Cherry Creek Shopping Center anchors the retail side of the neighborhood.
Away from the shops, the neighborhood is mostly residential. Older Denver homes share the blocks with modern rebuilds, townhomes and condo buildings. Here’s how that affects a cleaning visit:
- Newer builds often have large windows, several stories and mixed countertop surfaces. We match products to each surface and keep glass streak-free.
- Condo buildings can have concierge check-in, elevators and garage-only parking. Put all of that in your quote notes.
- Older homes have original floors and woodwork that are best cleaned with a gentle hand, not a heavy scrub.
Parks, library and the creek path
The Cherry Creek Trail runs along the south side of the neighborhood for walking, running and bike commuting. Pulaski Park sits near the trail, and Manley Park is close to Bromwell Elementary. The Ross-Cherry Creek branch of the Denver Public Library also serves the neighborhood.
Speer Boulevard turns into East First Avenue as it enters Cherry Creek from downtown. University and Colorado boulevards connect south to I-25, and the East Seventh Avenue Parkway runs past the north edge. Several RTD bus routes also serve the area. One note on names: the Cherry Creek School District is in Arapahoe County, not in this Denver neighborhood, so the shared name can be confusing.
