House Cleaning Services Applewood

House Cleaning Services in Applewood

Applewood is an unincorporated community in Jefferson County, about 10 miles west of downtown Denver. It is not part of Lakewood or Wheat Ridge. The Census Bureau counts it as a census-designated place, and its 2020 population was 7,833. Fairmount borders it to the north, Wheat Ridge to the northeast, Lakewood to the southeast and West Pleasant View to the southwest, with South Table Mountain rising along the west side. Most addresses use the Golden post office (ZIP 80401). The Cleanest House cleans Applewood houses, condos and townhomes. Apartments are outside our scope.

In one line: Applewood homes usually do best on a two-week cleaning cycle. Weekly and every-four-weeks visits are also available. Call (720) 660-4990 or request an Applewood quote.

Living below South Table Mountain

Applewood is residential through and through: single-family streets, established yards and some attached housing, all set against the mesa to the west. The community has its own civic groups, including the Applewood Valley Association and the Applewood Business Association. Recreation comes through the Prospect Recreation & Park District, and golfers have the Applewood Golf Course. Because the area is unincorporated, services come from a mix of Jefferson County and local districts rather than a single city hall. That doesn’t change anything for your cleaning. We simply need the address.

Homes at the base of a mesa have their own cleaning patterns:

  • Wind and dust. West-side breezes carry fine grit onto sills, patio door tracks and hard floors. We give those areas a real wipe-down, not a once-over.
  • Garden season. Big yards mean soil, mulch and grass clippings near the back door. Tell us which entry your family actually uses.
  • Hikers and dogs. Table Mountain trails bring dirt and pet hair home, so floors and rugs need regular attention.

Schools in the Applewood area

Applewood is part of Jeffco Public Schools (Jefferson County School District R-1). Depending on the street, children are zoned to Maple Grove, Stober or Welchester elementary schools. Middle school is Everitt or Bell, and most areas feed into Golden High School or Wheat Ridge High School, with some areas zoned to only one of the two. With households split between two high school attendance areas, a fixed recurring cleaning day is one less thing to plan around.

Our Applewood cleaning options

Recurring upkeep
Residential cleaning, recommended every two weeks. Weekly and every four weeks also work, but three-week gaps aren’t offered.
Initial reset
A single deep clean for a home you’re living in, usually booked before recurring visits begin.
Moving
Move-in/out cleaning for vacant homes. We can’t promise a deposit refund or an inspection result.
Products
Our non-toxic process uses lower-fume, lightly scented products. They aren’t chemical-free, and we make no medical claims.
Workplaces
Applewood businesses can request commercial cleaning. It’s month-to-month, any size gets a quote, and after-hours work is reviewed case by case.

Same-day and rush visits aren’t available.

What happens on the first Applewood visit

We usually recommend a deep clean for the first visit so baseboards, cabinet fronts, light switches and bathroom grout get fully caught up. After that, a biweekly crew works through the same checklist each time: kitchen counters and appliances, bathrooms, dusting, and vacuuming and mopping every room you’ve included. If you have a guest room or a finished basement that rarely gets used, we can rotate it instead of cleaning it every time.

Neighbors of Applewood

We also clean in Wheat Ridge to the northeast, Lakewood to the southeast and Golden just past the mesa. The full coverage map is on Areas We Serve.

"Excellent Communication"

"It’s been a delight working with the team from The Cleanest House. Excellent communication and quick responses are appreciated, they also showed up on time (early) with a crew to handle our deep clean appointment, working around some family we had in town and leaving our place clean and we noticed it especially in some tough to get areas we discussed on our initial call."
