House Cleaning Services in Montbello
Montbello is in Denver’s far northeast. It runs from Peoria Street east to Chambers Road, and from the I-70 corridor north to 56th Avenue and the edge of the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge. With more than 33,000 residents in the 2020 census, it’s the most populous neighborhood in Denver, though less dense than most because it’s so large. The Cleanest House cleans Montbello houses, condos and townhomes. We don’t clean apartments.
Where most families land: a biweekly cleaning plan. We also offer weekly and every-four-weeks visits. Call (720) 660-4990 or ask for a Montbello quote.
How Montbello was built
This used to be Adams County farmland. Denver annexed almost 3,000 acres in September 1965, and building began the next year. The builder Perl-Mack designed the early subdivisions, and the name is often translated from Italian as “beautiful mountain,” for the views west to the Continental Divide. Homes from the 1960s and 1970s are mostly ranches, some split-level, often with brick exteriors, attached garages and basements. Later phases added multi-level houses, and building continued into the early 2000s.
Here’s what those homes mean for cleaning:
- Basements count. Many Montbello ranches have a lower level that’s used every day. Tell us if you want the basement included in each visit.
- Attached garages send grit, road salt and dust straight into the kitchen or laundry. We pay attention to that entry.
- Big households are common here. About a third of residents were under 18 in 2020, so kitchens, bathrooms and floors get constant use, and steady recurring visits help.
Schools, open space and the airport corridor
Montbello has many public schools, including Maxwell, Oakland, John Amesse and Barney Ford elementary schools, McGlone Academy, Marie L. Greenwood and Farrell B. Howell K-8 schools, and the DSST: Elevate Northeast campuses. Montbello High School reopened as a comprehensive high school in fall 2022 after years of community advocacy.
The Montbello Open Space Park near East 46th Avenue gives the neighborhood a natural area, and the wildlife refuge to the north is one of the metro area’s largest open spaces. RTD’s Peoria station, on the A Line to the airport and the R Line, is just south in Aurora. I-70 and Peña Boulevard keep Denver International Airport within easy reach. For households working early or late shifts, a fixed recurring cleaning day takes one more thing off the list.
Montbello service options
- Recurring: residential cleaning biweekly (our recommendation), weekly or every four weeks. No three-week plan.
- Deep reset: a one-time deep cleaning for a lived-in home, often the first visit.
- Move cleaning: move-in/move-out service once the home is empty. There’s no guarantee on deposits or inspections.
- Products: our non-toxic approach, meaning lower-fume and mild-smelling products. They aren’t chemical-free, and we make no medical claims.
- Businesses: commercial cleaning for Montbello and airport-area offices, month-to-month, quoted for any size, with after-hours work decided case by case.
We don’t take same-day or rush jobs.
Preparing for your visit
A little prep goes a long way, especially in a busy home. Before we arrive, pick up toys and clothes from the floors so our time goes to actual cleaning, not tidying. Let us know about pets, the garage code or where the key is kept, and which bathrooms get the most use. If there’s a room you’d rather we skip, like a teenager’s bedroom, just tell us, and we’ll leave it alone.
Surrounding neighborhoods
We also serve Central Park and Northfield nearby to the west, the Arsenal area to the north and Aurora to the south. Find more on Areas We Serve.

"It’s been a delight working with the team from The Cleanest House. Excellent communication and quick responses are appreciated, they also showed up on time (early) with a crew to handle our deep clean appointment, working around some family we had in town and leaving our place clean and we noticed it especially in some tough to get areas we discussed on our initial call."
